Umesh Prasad

Dr. Umesh Prasad is a British science journalist, scholar, and editor best known as the founder of Scientific European, an online magazine that provides multilingual access to scientific advancements. He holds a diverse academic background, including a Bachelor of Science with honors in Physics from Ranchi College, a dental surgery degree from the Government Dental College in Madras, and a Master of Science in International Health Policy from the London School of Economics. He also earned a Master of Philosophy in Health Systems Management from BITS, Pilani. A naturalised British citizen, Prasad has worked extensively in health and education, serving as a prison dentist in India and a principal lecturer in the United Kingdom.
